Flower girls...
Not sure that I want little people crying as they try to walk to the alter...verdict has NOT come in on this.....

Ring Bearer...
Not sure that I want little people losing my wedding band....or crying as they walk to the alter...verdict still out...

About Gomez...the man NOT the band......

The future hubby and his family are from Monterrey, they have lived in Houston for over twenty years. He has a younger sister, Monica, and a younger brother Diego.
Mauro attended U of H, and graduated with a Bacholer of Fine Arts and Graphic Communications. He currently works for a graphic design firm, Active Imagination.

I'm sure the future hubby will add more stuff when and IF he remembers too.....hehe

About Mejia....

I am a native of Honduras, my family and I have lived in Houston, Tx for over twenty years. I have to parents, who have been married 28 years, and have lived to tell the story....I have a younger sister who starts high school next year. I love all things Potter, books, theories, mugglenet, movies 1, 2 and 3....(4 not so much...hopefully 5 will be better), I enjoy watching Gilmore Girls, CSI: Las Vegas and The Office. Three words to describe me are calming, friendly, and interesting. I am Catholic, and as Mauro would say, have NO issue discussing my faith or defending it. I tend to be very passionate about people and things I love....God, my faith, my future husband, my family, Harry Potter, politics, global warming, religion, Bush....some may say I tend to get over heated when discussing some of these topics, but I call it passion. I no patience for stupid people, violent movies and Bush.

I attended Houston Baptist University, and have a BA in Psychology and History. While I was finishing up my degree I started working for the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston, in the IS department. The nagging thought of teaching had always been in the back of mind, I guess God was trying to talk to me. Funny thing is, it wasn't until Mauro and I had been dating a few months, that he began encouraging me to at least try. So submitted my application to the Catholic School Office, emailed a few principals, and within 2 weeks, I had 3 interviews lined up, within another week I'd gotten 2 offers, and about a week after that, I accepted a 1st grade teaching position at Corpus Christi Catholic School. One of the two best thing that have ever happened to me...Mr. Gomez being the other. So now my life revolves around planning a wedding, trying to keep up with my family, Mr. Gomez and 16 little ones :)
